Burglary Suspect Damaged Vehicles, TVs, Computers at Frank Leta Honda
Jacob Kowalik, 21, of Foristell, is being held on $30,000 bond.
O'Fallon Police issued a press release yesterday about an arrest in a Feb. 14 burglary at Frank Leta Honda.
A 21-year-old Foristell man unlawfully entered the car dealership, located just north of I-64 on Auto Mall Drive, breaking windows and damaging drywall.
Jacob Kowalik has been charged by the St. Charles Prosecuting Attorney with second degree burglary and first degree property damage. He is being held on a $30,000 bond.
Police say the suspect also damaged three vehicles, flat screen televisions, comuter monitors, hard drives and keyboards and a desk.
Police were alerted to the situation by a 911 hang-up call from the business at 12:29 a.m. on Feb. 14. When officers responded to the auto dealership, they apprehended the suspect as he exited the building.
