“We have so many one-of-a-kind items,” she said.  “The main thing that makes us different is that I’m in the business because I love it.  I love helping people pick out the perfect gift, and it’s a lot of fun for me, too.”

Pizzazz, which opened in August 2011, has only been up and running for 10 months. However, this isn’t McGillicuddy’s first enterprise.  “I had another business for 23 years, which was a needlework retail store,” she said.  “The amount of people doing needlework really started faltering a while back, so I looked for something else that would bring in more people.  I thought of gifts, and that’s really what started Pizzazz.”

Her gift shop offers everything from jewelry to garden flags—and everything in between.  “We have a lot of jewelry, and when the holidays roll around, we’ve got a lot of those items, too,” she said. “We really do have a little bit of everything.”

Jewelry with brand names like Kameleon, DaVinci Beads, and Annaleece, along with various costume jewelry, make up the large selection.  Pizzazz also carries popular items like Tyler candles and Baggallini handbags.

Shoppers can also find frames, garden flags, greeting cards, scarves, clothing, and serving wear during their visit.  Apparel offered includes designs from Erin London, Focus and Keren Hart.  For those wanting to find a bargain, be sure to stop in during June 19-23 for 25% off all apparel.
