After getting up early and packing all the chairs, etc., We arrived at the shuttle location. While there were 100's of people waiting in line with us, several of us were left standing. We requested one more shuttle, which would have taken the rest of us to the parade and were told they would try to send another. After waiting for this bus, we were shocked when one pulled up and dropped off people but refused to take the 20+ of us still waiting. Parade ruined for these angry Irish

We had a delightful (yet cold) day at the Cottleville Parade...Parked at a friends home and walked...I am sorry that Brendan had this problem...Mayor Yarber will be very disappointed to hear that this happened with the shuttle problem...He and the city work hard on this parade.

We were also among the people that were left standing in the cold by the shuttle service. After waiting in line for over an hour, we boarded the bus with our kids, and were then told that the bus was only going to the college, not downtown like the website indicated. Then to add insult to injury, we were told that they had too many people on the bus, and we had to leave. You can imagine how well that went over with a 4 and 5 year old that wanted to ride a bus and see a parade.
I understand that this is a volunteer operation, but don't offer a service that leaves people in the cold.
