Former Walter Knoll Florist: What Do You Want to See Here?

Each week, we highlight a vacant commercial area and ask: what would you like to see move into this area?

Since this is your community, we want O'Fallon Patch to be a place where you can not only find out what's going on around town, but a place where you can share your thoughts and ideas with your neighbors.

Our feature "Visions for Vacancies" aims to help residents take an active role in planning and building their community. So each week, we'll highlight a vacant commercial area and ask: what would you like to see move into this area? If you know of an area you'd like to see highlighted, tell us in the comments.

Last week, we asked what you'd like to see in the vacant spot at 8629 Mexico Rd.

This week, we are taking a look at the former Walter Knoll Florist, 1314 Highway K, near St. Louis Bread Company.

If it were up to you, what would you like to see there? What do you think would best serve the O'Fallon community in that spot?

About this column: Each week, this column highlights vacant buildings in O'Fallon, to help residents take a proactive role in planning and building their community. Related Topics: Highway K, O'Fallon Business, Visions for Vacancies, and Walter Knoll Florist

I don't love it enough to drive over to St. Peters but if we had one nearby, I would definitely go.
