Get Out This Weekend for Bowling, Running and Music

You've probably seen our O'Fallon Patch two planners, designed to help plan family friendly and grown-up weekend plans. Starting today we're combining the two to provide one-stop shopping for finding activities that appeal to kids and adults. Look for this new "Get Out" planner every Thursday at 6 a.m. Each one will feature at least five fun events, destinations and activities in or around O'Fallon. Sometimes we'll add a bonus item that may be a bit further afield, because there are times when a great event is worth the drive!
When/Where: Friday, April 1 form 10 p.m. – 1 a.m. at Ethyl's Smokehouse & Saloon.
Why Go: Check out DJ Donnie Wren as he spins at Ethyl's while enjoying great drink specials too.
Pricing: Free to get in, food and drink pricing varies.
When/Where: Saturday, April 2 from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Home Depot.
Why Go: Bring the kids to Home Depot and let them build a planter box for your spring garden. They will learn how to use tools, put things together and gain a sense of accomplishment in this workshop designed just for kids age five-12.

When/Where: Saturday, April 2 at 9 a.m. at Mid Rivers Equine Center, 332 Stable Ln, in Wentzville
Why Go: Test your stamina at the True Grit Challenge as you follow the course through trails, obstacles, wooded hills, and muddy creek beds of our beautiful 89 acre Mid Rivers Equine Center.
Price: $25
When/Where: Saturday, April 2 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Michael's at 2220 Highway K, O'Fallon, MO 63368. Event also held on Tuesday, April 5.
Why Go: Michael's is offering an Easter themed make-it-take-it craft event for kids. Everyone, ages three and up is welcome.

9 PIN NO TAP BOWLING TOURNAMENT
When/Where: Saturday, April 2 at 8 p.m. at O'Fallon Bowl.
Why Go: O'Fallon Bowl is offering a 9 Pin No Tap Tournament that is open to everyone. $20 gets you in and you can bowl up to five games. Guaranteed $100 cash prize for first place.
