With all votes accounted for, Patch's first-ever St. Charles County Munch Madness tournament kicks into high-gear with the opening of the second round today!

Munch Madness runs along the same lines as the much-hyped college basketball tournament, except it uses St. Charles County restaurants instead of college basketball squads. 

That's right, 64 restaurants all vying for top status in the county. All matchups were found by creating a randomized list via random.org.

How do they advance, you ask? It all depends on your vote—on the site, our Facebook page and Twitter feed! To learn more about the tournament CLICK HERE.

Here are some basic rules and regulations:

• Restaurants will advance based on the number of votes they get on each Patch's website and their Facebook and Twitter accounts. The restaurant with the most votes at the end of the matchup will advance.
• Readers can vote by leaving a comment on the posted article for a given matchup. Twitter followers can vote by tagging a Patch's Twitter handle and adding their vote. And Facebook fans can vote by leaving a comment on the Facebook status that coordinates with the given matchup. 
• One vote per user, Twitter follower and Facebook fan. If you follow us on all three platforms like you should, that's three votes!
• Voting periods will be as long as the round in which you are voting.

Trailhead Brewing Company vs. Padavan's NY

Trailhead Brewing Company: The Trailhead Brewing Company is located in a unique building at the south end of the historic district. There is a large water wheel located on the side of the building where the creek winds its way to the river. Trailhead is a microbrewer and, depending on the season, will likely have a special brew to help beer lovers celebrate the occasion. During happy hour, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday (except during holidays and festivals), all appetizers and pizzas are half price. Padavan's NY: Padavan's NY is a restaurant and bar located in New Town. Vettes vs. Lil' Mickey's Memphis Barbeque

Vettes: Vettes Bar and Grill provides a clean family atmosphere. Lil' Mickey's Memphis Barbeque: Lil' Mickey's serves up delicious sandwiches, dinners and platters all adorned with authentic Memphis barbeque sauce. Madison's Cafe: Conveniently located on the corner of Highways K and N, Madison's boasts the longest happy hour in town—from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday. Its cozy atmosphere and reasonable prices makes it a great dining place for families as well as groups. Madison's also offers catering and a banquet room which seats up to 40 people.
