Welcome to O'Fallon Patch's "12 Days of Christmas," where each weekday from Dec. 4-21, we'll feature gift ideas and deals from local stores to help you complete your holiday shopping. 

Today's gift ideas come from O'Fallon's Main Street Marketplace, located at 220 South Main St. 

The shop offers customers anything from jewelry, clocks and refurbished furniture to doll clothes, decorative antique phones and sewing machines.

Owners Pete and Sandy Gowran and vendor Terri Burgess shared some of their favorite, unique items that would make great gifts this holiday season. 

"There's something here for everyone," Burgess said. "When people come in they need to spend a lot of time, because you always end up finding something new!"

1. Christmas Items

Pete said Christmas decor has been flying off the shelves this holiday season, but there's still plenty left, including old-fashioned sleights, ornaments, artificial trees and Christmas village sets. 

2. Hand-Knitted Accessories

Help your loved ones stay warm this winter with some hand-crafted, brightly colored knit socks and scarves. 

3. Furniture

Main Street Marketplace has a variety of new and antique tables, chairs, headboards and dressers. Burgess said the repurposed furniture is a popular item this year. This is the place to stop if you're looking for a rustic piece, red or teal dresser for someone with a new home.

4. Unique Odds and Ends

If you're looking for something different to give as a gift this Christmas, you'll find plenty of unique items in the marketplace including:

• Handmade soaps crafter right here in O'Fallon
• O'Fallon-made license plate bracelets popular with the teens
• Hat boxes 
• An antique birthing chair
• A cigarette stand from the 1930s 
• Carousel that plays music 
• A rare piece from the Korean War given to soliders
