An O’Fallon man faces criminal charges for enticing a 12-year-old girl to send him nude photos of herself Feb 17.

Dwight Barmore, 57, of O’Fallon, was charged Wednesday with sexual misconduct involving a child under age 15, possession of child pornography and use of a child in a sexual performance.

St. Charles County Sheriff's detectives said Barmore asked the girl to take and send him the photos. They reported Barmore then shared them with a co-worker on Wednesday. A forensic analysis of his phone indicated the photos were still on his phone, according to a court document.

Barmore was taken into custody and admitted receiving and having the photos on his cell phone, police said.

Bail for Barmore was set at $35,000, cash only.
