O'Fallon Police will be out on the streets conducting a sobriety checkpoint both within the next two weekends, in an effort to reduce alcohol related crashes.

According to police, the checkpoint targets areas with the highest alcohol-related traffic crashes.

Motorists passing through the checkpoint should experience only a minimal delay while speaking to officers on the dangers of drinking and driving.
