As we head into the holiday weekend, O'Fallon Patch has a list of things to know about Christmas in O'Fallon.  

Monday, Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve)

• O’Fallon Municipal Centre (City Hall) is closed.  
• The Renaud Spirit Center (RSC) is open 8 a.m.-4 p.m. 
• The Celebration of Lights in Fort Zumwalt Park is open to vehicles from 6 – 9 p.m.; $9 per car, $15 per commercial van, and $1 per person on tour buses ($25 minimum).
• For O’Fallon residents, there will be no change in trash or recycling service today.

Tuesday, Dec. 25 (Christmas)

• O’Fallon Municipal Centre (City Hall) is closed  
• The Renaud Spirit Center (RSC) is closed.
• The Celebration of Lights  is closed. 
•  For O’Fallon residents, Tuesday’s trash and recycling collection on Christmas, Dec. 25 will be collected on Wednesday. If your regularly-scheduled trash and recycling collection falls on the holidays, please put your trash and recycling collection out the next day, Wednesday.

Sunday, Dec. 30

• Celebration of Lights is open 6-9 p.m. The event closes for the season
• Monday, Dec. 31 (New Year’s Eve).
• The Renaud Spirit Center is open 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

Tuesday, Jan. 1 (New Year’s Day), 2013

• The Renaud Spirit Center is open with free admission to all from noon-5 p.m.
• O’Fallon City Hall will be closed.
• For O'Fallon residents, trash and recycling on New Year’s Day, Jan. 1, 2013, will move to Wednesday. If your regularly-scheduled trash and recycling collection falls on those holidays, please put your trash and recycling collection out the next day, Wednesday.
