O'Fallon Woman Escapes Scary I-70 Car Accident Unscathed

After hitting the concrete median along Interstate 70, Roxanna Logan's car swerved across several lanes of rush hour traffic before stopping on the highway.

A 37-year-old O'Fallon woman sustained just minor injuries after a frightening car accident along Interstate 70 Tuesday morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Roxanna Logan was driving eastbound on I-70, just west of Cave Springs Boulevard, when two cars driving in close proximity to her collided. One of those cars then spun around and hit Logan's car and both cars struck the concrete median on the busy highway during Tuesday's morning rush hour.

Logan's car, after hitting the median, then traveled across all lanes of the highway before coming to a rest on the shoulder.

Logan was taken to Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Peters via ambulance but was only reported to have minor injuries. Her car sustained moderate damage.

Oh thank God she will be OK. I was praying. When I came by they were pulling her out of the roof onto a backboard. Not sure if it was already a convertible or they cut it off.
