O'Fallon Woman Injured in RT-370 Car Crash

Javda Wilson overcorrected after nearly rear-ending the car in front of her and wound up striking the concrete median on Route 370 in St. Peters Thursday morning.

A 26-year-old woman from O'Fallon suffered moderate injuries Thursday morning after being involved in a two-car accident along Route 370 in St. Peters.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Javda Wilson, 26, of O'Fallon, was following a car driven by Mark Roebke, 53, of St. Charles, in the fast-lane of eastbound Route 370, just west of the Truman Road exit.

Wilson then suddenly swerved to the right to avoid hitting Roebke's 2009 Ford F-150, overcorrected and the front of her car struck the truck while continuing across the left lane and striking the concrete median.

Wilson was taken to SSM St. Joseph Medical Center in St. Charles by ambulance. Her car was totalled.

Both Wilson and Roebke were wearing safety devices. The accident happened just before 9 a.m.
