Soon to Open O'Fallon Golden Corral Now Hiring
The buffet and grill is currently under construction near the intersection of Highway K and Mexico Road and will open later this month.
Golden Corral Buffet and Grill signs appeared alongside Highway K and Mexico Road earlier this week.
The buffet will soon be open for business in O'Fallon just behind the O'Fallon Center. As O'Fallon Patch previously reported, a spokesperson from Knoebel Construction said construction should be complete by early September and the expected open date is Sept. 19.
Another sign hanging from the front entrance said the restaurant is now hiring. Those interested in applying should do so at Staybridge Suites, 1155 Technology Dr.
According to the Golden Corral website, the family-friendly restaurant that got it's start in North Carolina in 1973, offers a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner items.
"Our vision remains to be the leader in the family restaurant segment by making pleasurable dining affordable for every guest, at every restaurant, every day," the website states.

Every one loves "Golden Corral!" I am very Happy to have them build and open in our Community. However, the empty "Olde Town Buffet" Building located in "The Shops at Laurel Hill" and the building is fronting on Missouri Highway K is not being occupied. We as a City need to market that building and buffet facility and get the building occupied for stablization of the neighborhood, the shopping district and for competition and variety in the restaurant/Buffet/Grill business

There are some great efforts coming from our Economic Development Department now..Their new leadership and vision for the future has got them charged up!!.Get ready for some great things in the future. Just like Buffalo Wild Wings taking over the Old Town Buffet as the Patch reported many months ago...just like Two Shamrocks taking over the Highway K Bar and Grill on Highway K at Pheasant Point Center....just like Main Street Marketplace taking over the old Ann's Bra Shop (vacant for 3 years) just south of McGurks.....just like Capucinno's taking over the old Krieger/Sushi location (that sat vacant) in front of Walmart.....and on and on. O'Fallon is on the move and as the 39th Best City to live in the US it's the place to be.
