O'Fallon Recognizes St. Dominic Soccer Teams For Making State History

The St. Dominic girls team record for the season was 28-2 and the boys was 23-5.

For the first time in Missouri history, one local school brought home a state championship win for both its boys and girls varsity teams.

The St. Dominic High School soccer teams were recognized for their accomplishments, alongside Coach Greg Keller at the Jan. 10 O'Fallon City Council meeting.

The St. Dominic girls team record for the season was 28-2 and the boys was 23-5. Crusader Coach Greg Koeller was also named Coach of the Year in High School Soccer.

"We feel very blessed that in our school community, we have great families that provide us with such great student athletes," Koeller said as the audience applauded and the teams received the proclamation. "Not only do these people perform out on the field for us, but they also do a tremendous job in the classroom."
