O'Fallon Teen Assaulted Entire Family, Deputy Says

The teen tackled his father and crashed through a wooden door, according to a court document.

A 17-year-old assaulted his entire immediate family Aug. 28, according to St. Charles County Sheriff's deputy.

Patrick Craven, 17, of Fox Drive in unincorporated St. Charles County east of O'Fallon, was charged Aug. 29 with three counts of third-degree domestic assault.

A St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputy said Craven was the primary physical aggressor in the assault. According to the deputy’s report, Craven tackled his father and the two crashed through a wooden door. Craven struck his father in the face several times.

Craven also shoved his mother and punched his brother in the forehead. The deputy said marks on the father and brother and damage to the house was consistent with their statements.

Bond was set at $40,000, cash only.
