Teen Indicted on Sexual Misconduct, Burglary Charges

O'Fallon Police said the young man groped a woman and a 14-year-old girl through windows as they slept in two separate incidents.

 

A teen was indicted by a St. Charles County grand jury Sept. 14 on two first-degree burglary charges and one count each of first-degree sexual misconduct and attempted deviate sexual assault.

O’Fallon Police said Austin L. Mosley, 17, of the 400 block of Fire Tree Lane in St. Charles County near O'Fallon, reached inside windows two separate occasions and groped a woman and a 14-year-old girl. The first incident was May 6; the second was July 27. The woman and the girl were sleeping at the time, police said.

According to police reports, Mosley told police he was extremely drunk during both incidents.

The burglary charges are class B felonies; the deviate sexual assault is a class D felony, and the sexual misconduct charge is a class D felony.
