  • O'Fallon's Celebration of Lights: The annual holiday lights display opens for the season on at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23 and continues nightly through Dec. 30. Guests can make reservations for sleigh, train or carriage rides. Click here for more information. 
  • Christmas Traditions: This annual festival runs every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday, starting Nov. 23, through Dec. 24. It features a cast of more than 30 Christmas characters including a Victorian-era Santa and Tiny Tim from A Christmas Carol. See hours here.
  • Wentzvile Holiday Night Lights:  In Rotary Park, 2577 West Meyer Rd., Wentzville. Guests walk through the holiday light displays and enjoy refreshments. Santa Claus will also stop by to visit with and take photos with children. Cost is $3. Children under age 6 are free. 
  • Winter Wonderland on Ice Show: Friday-Saturday at the St. Peters Rec-Plex, 5200 Mexico Rd., St. Peters. See ice skating routines and festive holiday characters during. Performance times are Friday, Dec. 14, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 15, at 5 p.m.
  • STUPEFY! The 90 Minute Harry Potter Parody:  Friday-Saturday at at 7:30 and 10:30 p.m. at the Emerson Black Box Theatre at Lindenwood University. Tickets are $10 for students 21 and under or $15 general admission. Purchase tickets online or by calling the box office at 314-361-5664. 
  • Christmas Party and Visit from Santa: Saturday, Dec. 15 at 1 p.m. at 324 Sonderen St Ste B, O Fallon. Oasis Church hosts this free event featuring crafts and games, gifts, and food. Join in on the snowman building contest, find Rudolph's nose in a mound of whipped cream, make a candy cane ornament, bust the pinata and sit on Santa's lap.  
  • St. John 4th Annual Christmas Cantata: Dec. 15 and 16 at 7 p.m. at St. John United Church of Christ405 S 5th St, St. Charles. This cantata tells the story of Christ’s birth, complete with musical arrangements and meaningful scriptures. Join the St. John Chancel Choir, orchestra and soloists for the event. After the performance, all are welcome to enjoy food and at the Tasting Party immediately following in new fellowship hall. This event is free and open to the public.
