Today at the Fair: Tuesday, July 26

Patch brings you a look at today's activities at the St. Charles County Fair.

 

Coronations, opening ceremonies and tractor pulls are the big events today at the St. Charles County Fair. Patch will bring you an updated schedule of events for the fair each day this week.

The St. Charles County County Fair begins today and runs through Saturday at Rotary Park in Wentzville. 

Entry to the fair today is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 6-12. Kids age 5 and under get in for free. 

Tomorrow is senior citizens day. All adults age 60 and older will get in for $5.

Carnival rides are free with the price of admission to the fair. Gates close at 11 p.m. tonight

The public schedule for opening day is:

  • 4 p.m. — Fair gates open
  • 5-10 p.m. — Arcadeland and S&S exotic petting zoo open
  • 6 p.m. — Opening ceremony
  • 6-10 p.m. — Carnival rides, rappelling wall, butterfly house, kids fishing derby and Kolb Exhibition Center open.
  • 7 p.m. — MOSAC Antique Tractor and garden tractor pull
  • 7 p.m. — Queen coronation. For a complete list of queen candidates, click here.
  • 7 p.m. — Swine judging at the show barn
  • 7-7:30, 8-8:30 and 9-9:30 p.m. — Mike Coleman the Ventriloquist on the Stars and Stripes stage
  • 8:30 p.m. — D Bar D bull riding
  • 8:30-11 p.m. — Karaoke
