Hello Mr Frain,
My name is Matt. I'm the older brother of the "thug". I just thought i would let you know that due to the Heroin epidemic that the kids in our county have found themselves in, My brother decided one night that it was a good idea to rob the gas station. That doesn't make him a "thug". This simply means that the kids in our community need help! Instead of bashing them on the internet, maybe you should use your time to try and help these kids. A little background on my brother, He graduated highschool, When sober, he is the nicest kid youll ever want to meet. He had a job since he was 15. THE SAME JOB. He got mixed up with the wrong kids. He was put on probation for trying to help a friend get off heroin. As he was on probation things got worse with him. He started doing the same thing he was trying to get his best friend off of. My parents called his probation officer many times to try and get them to help him with these problems. The probation officer never once drug tested him. Never once questioned him about the problems. Maybe we need to start looking at whats going on in our court systems. Maybe we should give these "thugs" a chance to get things correct. My brother is in prison and is doing his time. When he gets out he plans on making a difference in the community and try to get these kids the help they need. Throwing kids in prison isn't the answer. Going in 19 year old kids and coming out life long criminals. Thanks for your opinion MrFrain

I want to thank the O'Fallon PD for such a quick response time after the call was made. If they wouldn't have responded as quick as they did I don't think they would have caught them as quick. I just hope everyone who doesn't believe in our Law enforcement officers never have the need for them. I for one am Grateful for them and glad they are around.. O'Fallon PD Keep up the Great work.

O'Fallon Police and their investigation had nothing to do with them getting caught. If it wasnt for me picking my brother up from Mr Jennings house, the guy supplying the heroin to my brother, then he would have never got caught. The K9 lost their scent just a mile and a half into the trail and was not able to pick it back up.

Matt, I understand the love and concern that you have for your brother. I also understand the serious nature of drug use in our city, county, state and country. It's a frightening thing to see what drugs and the pursuit of the money to get them has done to our society. It is also terribly frightening for anyone involved when two men armed with weapons come into a store to steal money to sustain their drug habit.. Hopefully there will be detoxifaction of your brother in prision and some strong rehab and reinforcement when he gets out. I will pray for your brother,

It hard to believe that your going to pray for someone whom you just called a "thug" on a public website. If you truly understood the drug problem in your community you wouldnt be on the internet bashing these kids like you did. Did you ever thing about how frightening it is when you have know idea what is going on and you pick up the one who the police are searching for? Do you know how frightening it is when you realize that your brother is strung out on drugs and has gun in your car that he just used to rob a gas station? Further more, do you understand how scary it is when you find out your brother robbed a gas station in the same county that you work it as a gas station employee? There is more to every story than what the media puts on the TV and internet so hopefully before you start bashing a person via the internet you will stop and think about who that person is and what kind of family that person came from. Needless to say, its terrible to have to sit here and read the awful things people say about not only my brother but my bestfriend. He is the best person you will ever meet. He just found himself going down the wrong path. Lucky for him he got caught and put into prison. Unforgettably just 2 months ago we had to bury his bestfriend due to an overdose. My brother knows that if it wasnt for going to prison he would be dead right now too. Funny how that kind of stuff usually doesnt hit the news. Please dont pray for my brother he is doing awesome.

Pray for those kids out there that cant seem to find the help they need. Pray that they dont overdose like many kids are doing. Pray that sooner than later they have a place to go without worrying about be judge or called names such as "thugs." Im sure your probably a grandfather Mr Frain, My brother has Grandparents too. Its hard for my 80 year old grandmother to read this type of stuff. God bless you sir.

Matt, as I have stated previously, you and your brother are bullies. You bullied kids from elementary school to middle school to high school. You're a terrible person.
