Valentine's Weekend: Date Nights and Family Fun

Valentine's Day is Monday, and that means a weekend timed perfectly to celebrate love.

VALENTINE SATURDAY DINNER

Where/When: Rendezvous Cafe & Wine Bar. Saturday, Regular dinner hours.

Why Go: What's not to love? Share a romantic candlelight wine and a five-course meal. Your entree choices: Beef tenderloin with onions and mushrooms in a cabernet reduction sauce or tilapia in a lemon butter white wine sauce and dessert. Plus, a rose for the lady.

CHOCOLATE DELIGHTS

Where/When: Lindsay's Chocolate Cafe & Coffeehouse. Saturday, Regular Hours.

Why Go: Nothing says Valentine's Day like chocolate. Meet friends and family at this O'Fallon sweet spot for breakfast, coffee and delicious desserts including chocolate. 

Pricing: Varies, but these sweet treats are affordable.

BJ THOMAS AND GARY PUCKETT IN CONCERT

When/Where: Lindenwood University's J. Scheidegger Centre for the Arts. Saturday, 8 p.m.

Why Go: Talk about romance! Thomas brought us Hooked on a Feeling, and Puckett crooned Young Girl

Pricing: Depends on seating: $28.50/$38.50/$46.50/$54.50. Check the event website for more information.

PANCAKE BREAKFAST

Where/When: St. Barnabas Church. Sunday, 7 to 11 a.m.

Why Go: A great way to share the love with your family. Open to all who attend Sunday mass.

Pricing: Free

DISNEY DAZZLE AND DESSERT

Where/When: St. Charles Community College. Sunday, 1 to 3 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m.

Why Go:  The Young People's Theatre brings favorite Disney characters to life in a musical review of Disney music. Cinderella and Prince Charming will be there, too!
