With a planned opening of October 30, the Wentzville Sam's Club has gone into high gear to fill 140 job openings at the new location.

The office is located at 1126 W. Pearce, Suite 104. (The strip mall near Steak 'N Shake where Blockbuster Video is also located.) The office has computers for interested job-seekers to fill out applications. Interviews are also held at this office.

Bobby Pleager, a hiring coordinator with Sam's club, said that they currently had many people at different points in the hiring process, but that many openings were still unfilled.

"We hope to get done some time in late September, so there's time to get everyone trained by the opening day," Pleager said.

Wentzville Patch has followed Sam's Club since plans first appeared before the Planning & Zoning Commission.
