The weekly Chowdown Showdown is meant to be a way for readers to pick and vote on their favorite places to get certain entrees in St. Charles County. Each week, we will ask you to tell us your favorite place to get a cup of coffee or a burger or breakfast.
We want to know: Where is the best place in St. Charles County to get steak?
You can let us know your favorite spot by commenting below. You will be able to submit your vote through 5 p.m. Tuesday.
From there, we will take the top three finalists and post them in an article first thing Wednesday morning. Then it will be time to vote again—this time for the "Chowdown Showdown" champion.
Voting will continue through 5 p.m. Thursday, and we will announce the winner first thing Friday morning.

Without a doubt, the best steaks in all of St Charles County are at Tony's on Main. If you have not been there I highly recommend Steak Anthony.

Hmmmm,,,, mmmmm. Has to be the Branding Iron! Ok, not in St. Charles cnty, but close. Exit 199 on 70 in Wright City. I, or I should say, "WE" eat steak at least three times a week. The standard steakhouses are great, so it all depends on the chef at that particular visit. But have always been served not only an extremely tasty steak, but viusually very appealing!! The "Fort" in Troy is also top on the list, but moved from that area, so not inclined to make the drive as often. If it MUST be St. Charles cnty then, Tony's.
