Woman Attacked CentrePointe Staff Member, Broke Her Collarbone, Deputy Says
A Sheriff's Deputy reported the woman yelled she would return and shoot staff members at the treatment facility.

A woman being treated at CentrePointe Hospital attacked a staff member Dec. 22, jumping on her and breaking her collarbone.
A St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputy said the woman jumped on the staff member, pulling her hair and yelled, “I’m going to kill you, (expletive).”
Patsha Ramsey, 18, of the 1600 block of Olive Street in the City of St. Louis, was charged Wednesday with second-degree assault.
The deputy said Ramsey wrapped her legs around the staff member’s upper body and it took several other hospital employees several minutes to get her off the staff member.
Multiple witnesses told the deputy Ramsey threatened to return to CentrePointe and shoot all the staff. According to the report, Ramsey’s doctor said she is not psychotic, is able-minded and fully aware of her actions.
Ramsey also had outstanding warrants for assault, according to the deputy’s report. Ramsey was transferred to St. Francois County, where she was wanted on three third-degree assault charges in Farmington. She is being held in St. Francois County jail.
Bail was set at $50,000 for the assault in St. Charles County.

Some people in this world have no regard for others. Here is a perfect example of someone that will probably not ever rehabilite. Her blatant disregard and disrespect of other human beings renders her to be a danger to others. She ruined the Christmas holiday for a nurse on staff who suffers from a broken collar bone. Her threats need to be taken seriously because she does not respect life

Some people in this world have no understanding of what it means to be a young person with a mental illness.
TD: You are exactly wrong. This is a prime example of someone with a high probability of successful rehabilitation. And you are prime example of how the general public's ignorance can directly lead to a negative, dismissive, and judgmental point of view. Please take in to account of uninformed you are.
I hope the hospital staff who were harmed are recovering quickly.

STL here's a bit of info you must've missed -According to the report, Ramsey’s doctor said she is not psychotic, is able-minded and fully aware of her actions. It seems as thou she is just not very nice and has violent tendencies.

She was there for what reason ? Prob drug treatment ? It is to late for her she has become an animal needs to be locked up for good a danger to everyone including herself. Or we can let her free again and wait for her to kill like she said she would. Need to keep people safe especially the workers that devote their life to helping the suffering trying to better their lives. Some people can not be helped.

I taught this young lady for about a semester when she was a freshman in high school in the St. Louis City Public Schools. She was living at an orphanage in Webster Groves and had multiple siblings who were shunted from place to place. There was an instance of molestation of her by a student in the school itself. She was then transferred to Webster Groves and I lost contact with her. I did talk several times with her social worker. She was troubled and volatile but had a spark of sensitivity that could have been nurtured. She had a troubled life and had a history of being taken advantage of. She is an angry young woman whom I pray will find find peace and tranquility. Being a male teacher, there was just not much that I could do. She is just one more instance of a troubled student being dropped through the cracks by the St. Louis Public Schools without a blink by any administrator who in a number of cases took advantage of the students that they were pledged to help. Is it any wonder that this young woman trusts no one and has acted out in frustration? She is guilty of her assaults. However, someone needs to help her find a better way of responding.
