Football
The Panthers came up a little short last Friday night against the Troy Trojans, falling by a score of 14 - 0. It was a well-contested battle that featured big hits from both squads.
The Panthers are excited for the cross-town showdown this coming Friday night when they take on the state-ranked Fort Zumwalt South Bulldogs.
Softball
The softball team played only one game last week. The team defeated Francis Howell Central 4 - 1 in nine innings. The offense was fueled by sophomore, Taylor Dames, who was 4 for 5 at the plate. Junior pitcher, Abby Hlavaty, pitched all nine innings to earn the victory.
Cross Country
Senior standout, Logan Jaggie, finished in overall 7th place at the Stan Nelson Invitational, running the 3.1 mile course in 16:57.
The JV Girls placed 2nd as a team in the meet, with four girls earning individual medals!
Girls Volleyball
The volleyball team completed a very successful week by sweeping both of it's opponents. The team defeated previously unbeaten Warrenton in two games last Tuesday, before besting intra-district rival Fort Zumwalt East in two games on Thursday. The victory over East High pushed the team's conference record to 2 - 0 for the season.
Girls Tennis
The girls tennis team continues to make strides as Jorday Mackey, Connie Wang, and Emily Matthews all recorded individual match victories last week.
Boys Soccer
The Varsity defeated Barat Academy 2 - 0 on goals from senior, Colton Rector, and freshmen, Chander Hoff. Goal keeper, Jack Filla, earned his second shutout of the year while saving seven shots.
Girls Golf
Maddi Ferguson finished in 9th place at the Troy Invitational!
