See the Well Hungarians in concert, free at O’Fallon Jammin’
An evening of rocking country music by the Well Hungarians is scheduled for the O’Fallon Jammin’ concert on Tuesday, July 10, from 6:30 – 9 p.m. in Civic Park, O’Fallon, Missouri 63366.
With high-octane showmanship and vocal harmonizing reminiscent of the Eagles, Alabama, Restless Heart, and Crosby, Stills & Nash, the award-winning Well Hungarians have a reputation for getting patrons out of their seats and dancing. The band has toured extensively, opening for a long list of country music and rock ‘n roll legends, and their repertoire includes contemporary country, rock, original songs and classics from the 1970s to current hits, including covers from the Charlie Daniels Band, the Zak Brown Band, Bad Company and Lynyrd Skynyrd. http://www.wellhungarians.net/
New Music Weekly Magazine named the Well Hungarians the “Best Country Band in 2006,” and the Riverfront Times presented the band with the “Best County Band (traditional)” award in 2007. The band’s single on the American Eagle Recording label, “Diamonds and Love,” rated # 10 on New Music Weekly’s “Indie Country Charts.”
The City of O’Fallon’s Jammin’ Outdoor Concerts are scheduled for 6:30 – 9 p.m. on Tuesday evenings through August. Admission and parking are free, with lawn seating available around the Civic Park bandstand. An ADA-accessible playground, walking path and restrooms are located nearby, with snacks and beverages available from vendors. Coolers are welcome but may be subject to inspection. For safety’s sake, no glass containers are allowed in the park. Jammin’ is sponsored by the O’Fallon Parks and Recreation Department with support from local businesses.
