Calling all runners. SunRise MOPS is now registering participants for the 3rd annual SunRise Stampede 5K and 1/2 Mile Kids Fun Run which will be held on Saturday, April 20 at 9:00 am. The cost to register is $20 for the 5K and $10 for the Kids Fun Run. Prices go up March 23. All proceeds from the Stampede will benefit SunRise MOPS and their outreach projects. This year, MOPS has used the money to fill and ship 90 Operation Christmas Child boxes, provide monthly meals to Our Lady's Inn, provide Mother's Day baskets to the residents at Our Lady's Inn, and provide scholarships to local moms to attend MOPS.
