Runners 4 Luke is sponsoring this run in remembrance of Luke Maue’s 19th birthday (9/21/2012) and celebration of his life. Luke was killed by a drunk driver on May 18, 2001, at the age of seven in front of the St. Louis Zoo. All proceeds from the run will be donated to the Gateway Affiliate MADD to help fund programs for the prevention of underage drinking/drunk driving.

More About Lutheran High School of St. Charles County
Lutheran High School offers a Christian education to students in grades 9 - 12. Students take classes in art, athletics, business, drama and music. Class sizes range from 18 - 23 students.
Students are required to take four credits of religion, four English credits, three mathematics classes, three science classes, three social studies classes, one fine art and one practical arts courts, two academic electives and two general elective credits, a half physical education course and a half health credit.
Athletic teams include boys and girls soccer, cross country, football, girls volleyball, softball, baseball, boys and girls basketball, track and field, girls and boys tennis, boys golf, wrestling, cheerleading and poms.
