Metro-Area Author Open House Just Made Gift Shopping Easier
Who needs to fight the 'Black Friday' shopping madness? The St. Charles City-County Library District just made your gift shopping easier with an open house planned for Thursday, November 29 featuring nearly 50 area authors. The 5:00pm event at the Middendorf-Kredell Branch Library in O'Fallon provides a great opportunity to speak with authors who write a variety of genres and purchase their books as Christmas and other gifts for those avid readers on your shopping list. More About Middendorf-Kredell Branch Library
The Middendorf-Kredell branch of the St. Charles City-County Library opened their Highway K location in 1995. The library offers nearly 190,000 books, movies, CDs and reference materials along with free WiFi and weekly programs for children, teens and adults. Through a partnership with Barnes Jewish St. Peters Hospital, the library also offers Healthy Answer Place, a wide variety of media made available for patrons to find more information on health and nutrition.
