CLI food packaging event

On Dec. 13, Camman and other individuals with disabilities from CLI’s Lonning and Mahon Day Habilitation Centers partnered with volunteers from St. Charles-based non-profit mission organization Global Compassion Ministries to package 1,080 meals that will be shipped to Haiti and other struggling nations to feed those suffering from malnutrition. The event marked the first time Global Compassion Ministries worked with individuals with disabilities on a food packaging event. The organization regularly hosts food packaging events in conjunction with the humanitarian food aid organization Kids Against Hunger.
