Adopt a Pet: Layla the Cat Needs a New Family

All Paws Rescue volunteers need help finding dogs and cats permanent homes.

Pets are available for adoption through , an O'Fallon based volunteer group working to save homeless dogs and cats.  All pets are kept in foster homes, where they receive the care they need to help prepare them for a permanent home.

All Paws is supported solely by private donations and fundraisers.  If you're interested in adopting an animal, you can browse their website or attend one of their weekend adoption events at area  stores. Last year they adopted out close to 300 pets.

Layla is a 4-year-old tortie that is deaf.  Her foster mom says: "She is very sweet and came from a home with other cats, but she startles very easily and she was not happy because they bothered her. If she was with a laid back dog or cat I believe she would be fine.  She has never missed or not used the litterbox.  She does love getting on the highest spot she can find, so I cannot guarantee that she would not get on cabinets, etc. She is declawed in the front and loves looking out the window at birds! She really loves to be around people and she did was great with my neices!  I hope someone will want to adopt this special girl, she will give you all the love she can!"

All pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and on a flea/tick preventative.  Cats are tested for FIV/FeLV and dogs are tested for heartworms.
