Adopt a Pet: Give Freckles a Home For the Holidays

All Paws Rescue volunteers need help finding dogs and cats permanent homes.

Pets are available for adoption through All Paws Rescue, an O'Fallon based volunteer group working to save homeless dogs and cats.  All pets are kept in foster homes, where they receive the care they need to help prepare them for a permanent home.

All Paws is supported solely by private donations and fundraisers.  If you're interested in adopting an animal, you can browse their website or attend one of their weekend adoption events at area  stores. Last year they adopted out close to 300 pets.

Freckles is a three-year-old male cat. He was found as a stray in Godfrey, IL. All Paws volunteers say Freckles is more like a dog than a cat. He rolls over on his back and gives you his tummy to rub, he loves to be picked up and held like a baby on your lap and puts his paws around your neck and falls asleep.

Volunteers describe him as an "awesome" and "gentle" boy, that  loves to play with toys, particularly the laser light. Freckles has tested positive for FIV, but All Paws volunteers say he is an extremely healthy boy.

All pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and on a flea/tick preventative. Cats are tested for FIV/FeLV and dogs are tested for heartworms.
