Adopt a Pet: Meet Daphne the Toy Mouse Loving Cat

All Paws Rescue volunteers need help finding dogs and cats permanent homes.

Pets are available for adoption through , an O'Fallon based volunteer group working to save homeless dogs and cats.  All pets are kept in foster homes, where they receive the care they need to help prepare them for a permanent home.

All Paws is supported solely by private donations and fundraisers.  If you're interested in adopting an animal, you can browse their website or attend one of their weekend adoption events at area  stores. Last year they adopted out close to 300 pets.

Daphne is a seven-year-old female calico. All Paws volunteers say she loves attention and being brushed. Daphne lost her home after her previous owner died.

Volunteers say Daphne is a very sweet cat that loves to sit on your lap. She is a little shy with other cats at first, but warms up quickly and seems to get along with everyone and is very easy going.

Daphne does not particularly like being picked up but will come to you and also loves sleeping with you. She likes to run around the house and play with her mouse toys.
