Adopt a Pet: Meet Eddison (Eddy), a Sweet Loving Cat

Pets are available for adoption through , an -based volunteer group working to save homeless dogs and cats. All pets are kept in foster homes, where they receive the care they need to help prepare them for a permanent home.

All Paws Rescue is supported solely by private donations and fundraisers. If you're interested in adopting an animal, you can browse their website or attend one of their weekend adoption events at area stores. Last year, they adopted out close to 300 pets.

This week's featured pet:

Meet Eddison (Eddy), or as his foster mom refers to him, a "Sweet Declawed Guy!" Eddison lived with a foster mom for a while, and he was as good as gold. He is a quiet, shy cat with a lot of heart. He would probably be best as an only cat or with a good natured guy friend. All Paws Rescue refers to Eddison as a sweetheart. He is current on his shots, microchipped, feleuk/FIV neg, fecal neg, declawed on his front paws and a big lover boy. If you want to give a good guy a second chance, come meet Eddy.

All pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and on a flea/tick preventative.  Cats are tested for FIV/FeLV and dogs are tested for heartworms.
