Adopt a Pet: Meet Friendly, Affectionate Socks

All Paws Rescue volunteers need help finding dogs and cats permanent homes.

Pets are available for adoption through , an O'Fallon based volunteer group working to save homeless dogs and cats.  All pets are kept in foster homes, where they receive the care they need to help prepare them for a permanent home.

All Paws is supported solely by private donations and fundraisers.  If you're interested in adopting an animal, you can browse their website or attend one of their weekend adoption events at area  stores. Last year they adopted out close to 300 pets.

Socks is a female gray tabby with white paws. She is around a year old, and All Paws volunteers say she is friendly and affectionate. She loves everyone, including strangers, and will happily sit in your lap for as long as you'll let her.  She's lived with several other cats and volunteers say she does very well with them, and she is also good with dogs and children.

All pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and on a flea/tick preventative.  Cats are tested for FIV/FeLV and dogs are tested for heartworms.
