Adopt a Pet: Meet Laid Back, Loveable Thor

Pets are available for adoption through , an O'Fallon based volunteer group working to save homeless dogs and cats.  All pets are kept in foster homes, where they receive the care they need to help prepare them for a permanent home. 

All Paws is supported solely by private donations and fundraisers.  If you're interested in adopting an animal, you can browse their website or attend one of their weekend adoption events at area  stores. Last year they adopted out close to 300 pets. 

This week's featured pet: 

Thor is a male German Shepherd dog who is approximately 8 years old (date of birth 2003).  He is a big boy at 103 pounds, but he is very calm and laid back.  Thor loves attention. He is great with other dogs and has lived with other dogs his entire life.  He only came to All Paws Rescue because his owner passed away.  Thor is crate and house-trained.
