Adopt a Pet: Meet Maybelline The Fashionable Cat Looking For a Home

Pets are available for adoption through All Paws Rescue, an O'Fallon based volunteer group working to save homeless dogs and cats.  All pets are kept in foster homes, where they receive the care they need to help prepare them for a permanent home. 

All Paws is supported solely by private donations and fundraisers.  If you're interested in adopting an animal, you can browse their website or attend one of their weekend adoption events at area PetSmart stores. Last year they adopted out close to 300 pets. 

This week's featured pet: Meet Maybelline

Her foster mom says: "Sweet, friendly Tuxedo catI was named Maybelline because of my eye make-up. I look as if I have mascara. I am a good girl, and I woud like to have a home where I can rest, play and love! I am a St Louis City native, living in Tower Grove Avenue by myself until someone realized I needed some help! I am a loving girl - I just need someone to love me back! Maybelline had to survive on her own for a while, but definitely lived in a home at one time. She is nervous of cats at first, probably because a cat living "on the street" has to be cautious of everyone. She was OK with adult cats, but a bit hissy. In a home situation she was OK with other cats. She is spayed, tested negative for Feleuk/FIV, de-wormed, vaccinated and microchipped."
