Adopt a Pet: Meet Shorty Pants the Chihuahua Mix

All Paws Rescue volunteers need help finding dogs and cats permanent homes.

Pets are available for adoption through All Paws Rescue, an O'Fallon based volunteer group working to save homeless dogs and cats.  All pets are kept in foster homes, where they receive the care they need to help prepare them for a permanent home.

All Paws is supported solely by private donations and fundraisers.  If you're interested in adopting an animal, you can browse their website or attend one of their weekend adoption events at area PetSmart stores. Last year they adopted out close to 300 pets.

Shorty Pants is a little Chihuahua mix. He weighs 10 pounds and absolutely loves kids. He lived with a family that had five children of all ages and really misses them. Shorty Pants would get very excited when the school bus came and all the kids got home! He also slept under the covers all snuggled up with one of the kids. He is house broken and no trouble at all.  Shorty would prefer to be the only dog or be with a very lazy dog!
