Adopt a Pet: Meet Skittles the Papillon Mix

Pets are available for adoption through , an O'Fallon based volunteer group working to save homeless dogs and cats. All pets are kept in foster homes, where they receive the care they need to help prepare them for a permanent home. 

All Paws is supported solely by private donations and fundraisers.  If you're interested in adopting an animal, you can browse their website or attend one of their weekend adoption events at area  stores. Last year they adopted out close to 300 pets. 

This week's featured pet:

Skittles is a three-year-old Papillon mix. All Paws volunteers say she is ahappy dog and loves to play, but can be a bit nervous around new people. When she feels safe she is extremely affectionate. Volunteers say Skittles does well with other dogs and cats, but she needs a home with no small children. Skittles is house-trained and crate trained.
