Adopt a Pet: Vito the Cat Needs New Home

All Paws Rescue volunteers need help finding dogs and cats permanent homes.

Pets are available for adoption through All Paws Rescue, an O'Fallon based volunteer group working to save homeless dogs and cats.  All pets are kept in foster homes, where they receive the care they need to help prepare them for a permanent home.

All Paws is supported solely by private donations and fundraisers.  If you're interested in adopting an animal, you can browse their website or attend one of their weekend adoption events at area PetSmart stores. Last year they adopted out close to 300 pets.

Vito is a 3-4-year-old male cat, that had to have one of his front legs removed. According to All Paws volunteers, he was running with a group of cats outside and something got hold of him and badly damaged his front leg. Infection almost killed him but he fought to live.

Volunteers say Vito is a wonderful kitty and gets around great. He would do best in a home with no dogs. Volunteers say a dog may have hurt Vito, becausehe is very afraid of them.

All pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and on a flea/tick preventative. Cats are tested for FIV/FeLV and dogs are tested for heartworms. Adoption fee is $90 for cats and $125 for dogs.
