Adoptable Pets: Help Oscar Find a New Home

All Paws Rescue volunteers need help finding dogs and cats permanent homes.

Pets are available for adoption through , an  based volunteer group working to save homeless dogs and cats. All pets are kept in foster homes, where they receive the care they need to help prepare them for a permanent home.

All Paws is supported solely by private donations and fundraisers. If you're interested in adopting an animal, you can browse their website or attend one of their weekend adoption events at area  stores. Last year they adopted out close to 300 pets.

This week's featured pet:

Oscar is a five-year-old male Boston Terrier. All Paws volunteers say Oscar is deaf and has started learning sign language in his foster home. Oscar is very affectionate and loves belly rubs. He is good with other dogs and cats. Oscar is crate trained and is doing well with house-training. His foster family says he is good with children, but due to an old injury, Oscar has a scar that is a bit sensitive to touch, so he would like a home with no very young children, since they may accidentally cause him pain while trying to pet or hug him.
