Adoptable Pets: Energetic Lap Cat Needs New Home

All Paws Rescue volunteers need help finding dogs and cats permanent homes.

Pets are available for adoption through , an  based volunteer group working to save homeless dogs and cats. All pets are kept in foster homes, where they receive the care they need to help prepare them for a permanent home.

All Paws is supported solely by private donations and fundraisers. If you're interested in adopting an animal, you can browse their website or attend one of their weekend adoption events at area  stores. Last year they adopted out close to 300 pets.

This week's featured pet:

All Paws volunteers say four-year-old Brandy is extremely affectionate with her people and loves to be held and cuddled. She is the epitome of a lap cat, loves to play with toys and is full of energy.

Because of her long, lovely coat, volunteers say Brandy requires brushing once a week to prevent matting. Brandy had severe gingival inflammation of the mouth, gums and tongue and was in a lot of pain when she came to All Paws. Because of this, she and had her teeth extracted and now only eats canned food.  All Paws volunteers say now Brandy is a healthy, pain-free and happy little cat who is ready for a good home and family to love.
