Adoptable Pets: Friendly, Fun Gus is Ready For Adoption

All Paws Rescue volunteers need help finding dogs and cats permanent homes.

Pets are available for adoption through , an  based volunteer group working to save homeless dogs and cats. All pets are kept in foster homes, where they receive the care they need to help prepare them for a permanent home.

All Paws is supported solely by private donations and fundraisers. If you're interested in adopting an animal, you can browse their website or attend one of their weekend adoption events at area  stores. Last year they adopted out close to 300 pets.

This week's featured pet:

Gus is a three-year-old cat that likes being pet and sitting on your lap. All Paw volunteers say if you want a friendly and funny cat, he may be for you. Gus would be better in a calmer home with no young children, as he has some issues with his right shoulder. All Paws volunteers say it is like arthritis and some days it bothers him and other days it doesn't.
