Cottleville Haunted Hayride Seeks Volunteers

Cottleville Haunted Hayride Needs Volunteers 

Cottleville Firefighter Community Outreach is looking for more than 50 volunteers ages 18 and older to help with a haunted hayride from 5-11 p.m. Sat. Oct. 27. The CFCO engages in community projects like getting an adaptive playground equipment for children. This Haunted Hayride is a fundraiser for the group. Costumes, food and drink will be provided. There are additional volunteer opportunities outside of the haunted hayride as well. Email Jen Spellazza at jspellazza@yahoo.com with contact information, email, phone number and time for a phone conversation.

Help With Act II Community Theater

Act II Community Theatre is looking for volunteers during the weekend of Oct. 13 and 14 and Oct. 20 and 21. Volunteers are needed for the run of Sweeney Todd: Demon Barber of Fleet Street.  We need volunteers for Box Office, Concessions, and Ushering. We are asking ushers at this time to wear black pants and white shirts to distinguish you to our audience members. You will also be given a name tag to indicate you are an Act Two Volunteer. Volunteer With Friends of Imperial Crown Pet Cemetery

The Friends of Imperial Crown Pet Cemetery in Florissant is in need of volunteers. The not for profit organization is preparing to install a pathway to new property that was just purchased along with starting a new memory flower garden. The organization also hosts clean-up days in November and places of poinsettias on the graves in December. If interested, call 314-921-5032.

South County Senior Rescue Center

Deliver meals to homebound senior citizens in the Lemay, Mehlville/Oakville areas.  Delivery schedule 10:30 to noon.  Mileage reimbursement available.  Help us provide a daily hot meal to seniors in need and be that friendly visitor who brightens their day. Cooking for Comfort Class Assistant

Help others find the joy of cooking by helping with a cooking class at St. Louis Arc in Creve Coeur area. Help people with developmental disabilities as they learn cooking skills. The instructor will teach a range of recipes. Volunteers will help with the cooking tasks. 

Community Loving Care Hospice Seeks Volunteers 

Volunteers are needed to sit with people in hospice care center in Wentzville and provide companionship. Volunteers would have to do a background check. Volunteers can help with running errands, cooking or baking, sewing, reading, and sitting with our patients one on one. If you would like to become a part of the team, please contact Tracy Galloway at 636-639-6280.
