Discounted Tickets Available Now for O'Fallon's Heritage and Freedom Fest

Get discounted tickets at the RSC or the Parks office now through June 30th. While at the Fest, check out Smash Zone, as the U.S. Tennis Association debuts its premiere mobile tennis court.

A bit of pre-planning can save attendees to the 2011 Heritage and Freedom Fest a bit of time and cash.

Now through June 30, you can purchase discounted carnival ride tickets for the midway at the on Highway K or the on Civic Park Drive. Advanced ticket prices are just .50 each for a savings of 50 percent. The tickets are non-refundable.

Marsha Seymour, manager of Tourism for O'Fallon's Parks and Recreation said this is the second year discounted tickets are available, based on the success of last year's promotion.

Tickets will also be available during the Fest for the regular price of $1 each.

Saturday is Family Night, with unlimited ride wristbands available for $20. The wristbands are valid on Saturday night only.

Fest hours:

  • Saturday, July 2 from  5 – 10 p.m.
  • Sunday, July 3 from noon - 11 p.m.
  • Monday, July 4 from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.

This year, attendees to the Heritage and Freedom Fest will be some of the first in the country to experience Smash Zone. The U.S. Tennis Association is introducing the 53’ trailer that unfolds into tennis courts downsized for youth play and is making a stop in O’Fallon.

The Smash Zone mobile will operate from noon until 6 p.m. on July 3 and 4 at the Fest. Smash Zone bills itself as, “the U.S. Open’s premiere fan experience,” as part of the USTA’s ongoing effort to make the sport accessible to children across the country. More information on Smash Zone and the USTA’s 10 and Under Tennis initiative can be found on their website.

Tom Drabelle, director of Public Relations for O’Fallon, said the city is  one of 17 stops for the Smash Zone trailer this summer as it makes its debut.
