Five Things to Do With Kids This Week

Where/When: Saturday, Feb. 12 at the Deer Run Branch in O'Fallon in Meeting Room A from 2-4 p.m.
Why Go: Celebrate Valentine's Day with crafts for all ages. Families are welcome and parents are encouraged to participate. Children under five must be accompanied by an adult. No reservations required.

Where/When: Sunday, Feb. 13 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Butterfly House – Faust Park in Chesterfield.
Why Go: Come into the Lopata Learning Lab for Bugaloo: Nature’s Shapes and Colors. Celebrate Mother Nature’s shapes and colors with fun books, insects, learning games and other hands-on discoveries. Mix red, yellow and blue with circles, squares and triangles, and have a “naturally” good time. For children ages two to four with their families.
Pricing: General admission is $6, children 3-12 are $4 and children two and under are free.
Where/When: At in Dardenne Prairie, other participating theaters can be found on their website. The movies will play every Wednesday at noon through March 2.
Why Go: Who doesn't love a free movie!! Seats are available on a first come, first serve basis on the day of the movie, so please arrive early.
Pricing: Free. A series concession combo will also be offered for $5 per show that will get you popcorn, soda and candy.
Where/When: After School Blast at . The After School Blast promotion is available every school day, Monday-Friday from 2-5:30 p.m. Must show student ID. Not valid for groups or on national school holidays.
Why Go: Give the kids a break after school and head to Brunswick Zone XL. You’ll get up to two hours of unlimited bowling, shoe rental, $5 in game play, small fries and a small soft drink.
Pricing: $6.99 per kid.
Where/When: Great Skate is located at 130 Boone Hills Drive in St. Peters. They offer different skate times on Friday, Saturday and Sunday every week.
Why Go: Great Skate is a fun place for families to come together and roller skate. On Friday's from 10:30-11:30 p.m., a late skate and dodgeball session is offered for only $2. Then on Saturday mornings, from 9:15-10 a.m. you can take skating lessons for only $5, including your skate rental. The lessons are for all ages and skill levels and no registration is required.

- Friday’s from 7-10:30 p.m - $6 admission and $2 skate rental
- Saturday's from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and 8-10:30 p.m. - $5 admission and $2 skate rental
- Sunday's from 12:30-5 p.m. - $5 admission and $2 skate rental
