Five Things to Do with Kids This Week

Where/When:  The is located at 3941 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in St. Peters.   "Wonderful Wednesday" is this Wednesday, Feb. 16 all day from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Why Go:  The painted Zebra is a paint your own pottery studio and gift gallery.  The Painted Zebra offers a wide selection of gifts, a wonderful collection of cozy home furnishings, one-of-a-kind artisan pieces, beautiful collectables and accessories.  A place to come to relax, be creative and have fun.

SCHOOL'S OUT GAME DAY

Where/When:  Friday, Feb. 18 at the Deer Run Branch in Meeting Room A from 2 - 3:30 p.m.

Why Go:  Play cards, board games or Wii Sports.  This event is for school age children in grades one through five.  Call 636-978-3251 or 636 -980-1332 to register.  Friends of the Library purchased the Wii games and equipment.

WEE TEA PARTY

Where/When:  Saturday, Feb. 19 at the in the Arts & Crafts Room from 1 - 2 p.m.  This event is for children from three to six years old.

Why Go:  Your child will be in heaven when they get to dress up as a prince or princess for this memorable tea party.  Please come to the party already dressed as a prince or princess.  There will be crafts and we will make Friendship Tea to share.  (Minimum class size is four; maximum is 12.)

Pricing:  Residents are $10 and Non-Residents are $12.  To register call 636-474-2732 or come into the Renaud Spirit Center at 2650 Tri-Sports Circle, O'Fallon.

11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Free kids’ activities

Why Go:  This four-day event for bird watchers of all ages is part of a national event that aims to create a real-time snapshot of where the birds are across the continent.  Anyone can participate, from beginning bird watchers to experts.  It’s free, fun,  easy, and it helps the birds.  Don’t forget your binoculars!  For more information, or to register for the Bird Identification Program, call 636-379-5502.

JUMP 4 FUN FAMILY NIGHT

Where/When:  is located at 79 Hubble Drive, Suite 103, Dardenne Prairie.  Family Fun Nights are Thursday nights from 5-7 p.m. and every third Friday of the month from 6-8 p.m. 

Why Go:  Jump 4 Fun has seven massive inflatables for children of all ages.  Let your children run through the Millennium obstacle, which is challenging enough for people of all ages.  Or try out the Batman obstacle course, the Fairy Princess, which has a jumper, slide and basketball hoop or slide down either of the tall slides.  There is also a toddler town that is perfect for children under five.

Pricing:  Ages 2-15 are $7 (tax included).  Children under two are free if accompanied by a paying child otherwise they are $5.50 (tax included).
