Holiday in the Park Trivia Night 2011

  • When/Where? Friday, Dec. 2 at 6 p.m. at the , 8500 Veterans Memorial Parkway in O'Fallon. 
  • What? Sign up for a table and support the Fort Zumwalt North Panther Pride Marching band. A table of eight players cost $160 and includes free beer and soda. Players must be 21 years of age or older. FAM JAM Live Family Theater

  • When/Where? Friday, Dec. 2 at 6 p.m. at , 1600 Feise Rd. in Dardenne Prairie
  • What? This event is designed to bring parents and kids together for an evening of live entertainment. Families will engage in a live production filled with music, drama, media, comedy and a look at the Bible. This month’s virtue is “Generosity" and will include a Christmas twist. Shows are at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Holiday Night Lights Drive

  • When/Where? Friday, Dec. 2 and Saturday Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. at, 2577 W Meyer Rd. in Foristell.
  • What? Holiday light tours are open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays in Rotary Park through Dec. 10. The displays are open daily on Dec. 15-30 from 6-10 p.m. The one-mile light display costs $8 per car up to six people. Call 636-639-2082 for more information.

  • When/Where? Friday, Dec. 2, Saturday, Dec. 3 and Sunday Dec. 4 at ,100 North Main St. in O'Fallon. 
  • What?  "A Dickens of a Christmas Carol: A Traveling Travesty in Two Tumultuous Acts," follows the tribulations of an English theater troupe struggling to put on their 15th annual farewell tour of the Charles Dickens classic, and the havoc that breaks loose when the company diva fakes an illness to get the tour cancelled. The cost is $10 for general admission (ages 18-64), and $8 for both students (ages 6-17) and seniors (age 65 and up). WingHaven Teen Movie Night: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two

  • When/Where? Saturday, Dec. 3 from 9-11 a.m. at Winghaven Library at 7435 Village Center Dr. in O Fallon. 
  • What? Teens age 12-19 can enjoy free snacks and drinks with friends while watching the epic finale of Harry Potter. In this finale installment, the battle between the good and evil forces of the wizarding world escalates into an all-out war and it's Harry who may be called upon to make the ultimate sacrifice as he draws closer to the climactic showdown with Lord Voldemort. Registration is required. 

O'Fallon's Celebration of Lights 

  • When/Where?  Visit the display from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and Sunday and from 6-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The display will be open from Nov. 25 until Dec. 30. at 
  • What? O’Fallon’s 19th Annual  is a holiday lights display featuring holiday scenes along a one-mile route through Fort Zumwalt Park. No reservations are needed for a drive-through view. Birthday Party for Jesus Luncheon Celebration

  • When/Where? Saturday, Dec. 3 at 11 a.m. at the , 3451 Pheasant Meadow Dr. 
  • What? Our Lady's Inn maternity shelter is hosting a Birthday Party for Jesus Luncheon Celebration  The lunch includes , a veggie cup, chips and dessert. Guests can also participate in Christmas crafts, take pictures in the manger scene and hear Santa read the Christmas Story. Cost is $5. Reservations must be made in advance by ordering online or calling 314-351-4590.

A Christmas Carol

  • What? Lindenwood University Fine and Performing Arts students perform the Charles Dickens classic, continuing a holiday tradition that's lasted for over three decades. Tickets range from $10-$18. Click here to order tickets.  

  • When/Where? Saturday, Dec. 3 at 9 a.m. at , 801 First Capitol Dr. in St. Charles 
  • What? Come and pick out your favorite treats homemade cookies and candies for only $6. All proceeds will be used for mission work both locally and around the world.

  • When/Where? Friday-Sunday at the , 520 N Main Ctr. in St. Charles. 
  • What? The Big Red Box Show and Sale is an opportunity for Missouri artists to sell their unique, handcrafted art for the holidays. The free show runs from 4-9 p.m. Dec. 2 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Breakfast with Santa in Wentzville 

  • When/Where? Saturday, Dec. 3 at 9 a.m. at , 968 Meyer Rd, in Wentzville.
  • What? Children 12 years old and younger are invited to meet Santa for donuts, crafts and games. Each child will have individual time with Santa for parents to take pictures. Cost is $8. 

Sounds of the Season at Heritage Museum

  • When/Where? Sunday, Dec. 4 from 3-6 p.m. at , 1630 Heritage Landing in St. Peters. 
  • What? Come hear holiday music while enjoying hot apple cider and a tour of the new free museum. Current displays show life of the German immigrants who settled St. Charles County in the early 1800s. Musical performances include St. Louis Christmas Carols Association, St. Charles Community Singers and more. 

Spirit of Christmas Dinner and Dance

  • When/Where? Friday, Dec. 2 at 6 p.m. at , 968 Meyer Rd. in Wentzville. 
  • What? Adults ages 50 and older can enjoy an evening of music, dancing, and door prizes. Wentzville Parks and Recreation staff and volunteers will also serve guests dinner. 

  • When/Where? Saturday, Dec. 3 before 5 p.m. at , 1220 Mid Rivers Mall in St. Peters 
  • What? Donate five or more cans of food and see a movie for free before 5 p.m. Bring in an additional 15 cans and receive a pass to see a movie on another day.

St. Peters Choral Society Holiday Performance

  • When/Where? Sunday, Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. at , 8050 Mexico Rd. in St. Peters. 
  • What? The St. Peters Choral Society, directed by John Smith, performs a free concert on Sunday. Guests can get into the spirit of the season with performances of familiar holiday tunes. 

13th Annual Lake Saint Louis Holiday Home Tour

  • When/Where? Sunday, Dec. 4 at 5 p.m. at the , 200 Civic Center Dr.  
  • What? Presented by the Lake St. Louis Mothers Club, the 13th Annual Holiday Home Tour traditionally starts the holiday season in Lake Saint Louis. The tour offers  access to a selection of uniquely decorated homes within the Lake Saint Louis community. The $10 cost of a tour ticket will allow entry into four private residences located in Lake Saint Louis.
