Why Go: This is a great volunteer opportunity. Join in cleaning and tidying Civic Park to help get set for summer fun and relaxation. Volunteers will help with planting, mulching, sidewalk framing and fence installation.

When/Where: April 8-10 at in St. Charles. The event runs from 5- 10 p.m. Come back Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m. for an entire day of entertainment.

Why Go: The Missouri Tartan Day Festival is a celebration of Scotish-American Heritage the whole family can enjoy together for free. Join in the fun with a wide variety of music, food, dance, crafts, storytelling and clans. You'll also find animal exhibits and interactive activities for the whole family. On Saturday at noon, catch the parade as they travel down Main Street beginning at the boathouse.

Why Go: Bring the kids to Lowe's for their Build and Grow clinic. This weeks featured project is a pinball theme that the kids will love making as well as playing with. It's free, so check it out!

When/Where: Sunday, April 10 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Wingate Hotel, 32 Missouri Research Park Circle in St. Charles

Why Go: Cat In A Basket, a local gift company is hosting a Spring Shopping Boutique and Girl’s Day Out, featuring locally made products from moms with home-based businesses, on-site hair and makeup stylist and gourmet treats.  Proceeds from the event will benefit the St. Louis Crisis Nursery.
