Get Out: St. Charles YMCA Hosts Kids Night Out

As we head into the weekend, O'Fallon Patch rounds up a list of events going on in St. Charles County.

RiverCity Rascals Opener

• When/Where? At 7:05 p.m. on Friday, May 18 at , 900 T.R. Hughes Blvd, O'Fallon.

St. Peters Kite Festival

• When/Where? From 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, May 19 at 370 Lakeside Park, 1000 Lakeside Drive, St. Peters.
• What? This free annual festival sponsored by the St. Peters Rangers Division allows individuals to enjoy the spring winds while joining together with other kite enthusiasts. Come check out the new 300-acre park. The first 100 kids will receive free kite-building kits. Refreshments will be available for a small cost.

Live Music With Brad Welker

• When/Where? From 9 p.m.-1 a.m. on Friday, May 18 at Padavan's NY outdoor Rockstar Patio located at Padavan's NY, 3249 Rue Royale, St. Charles.
• What? Brad Welker will be performing live at Padavan's NY. Come join the fun and indulge in delicious food and cold drinks all night long. For more information visit http://­www.­padavansny.­com.

Kids Night Out at St. Charles County YMCA

• When/Where? From 6:30-10:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 19 at the YMCA, 3456 Harry S. Truman Blvd, St. Charles.
• What? Enjoy a fun night out while your child enjoys fun activities, movies, and games. This is for children age 6 weeks to 6 years. Shower of Love Baby-Care Items Collection Drive

• When/Where? All day from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. on Saturday, May 19 at Schnucks, 1950 Zumbehl Rd., St. Charles.
• What? Volunteers are needed for the 6th annual Shower of Love. The Shower of Love is a St. Charles Countywide collection drive for baby-care items. This event benefits moms and babies at Birthright-St. Charles, Crisis Nursery, Mary Queen of Angels, Nurses for Newborns, Our Lady's Inn, ThriVe St. Louis and Youth in Need. The Shower of Love is a St. Charles Countywide collection drive which provides basic baby supplies to young families in hopes of preventing child abuse and neglect. Refined Youth

• When/Where? From 7-8:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 20 at Faith Christian Family Church, 2349 W Pearce Blvd, Wentzville.
• What? We meet every Sunday night at 7pm at our Wentzville Campus! If you are in grades 7-12, check out this event. Every Sunday night at 7 p.m., join together with other Christians to hang out, play games, eat delicious food, and learn about God. For more information visit http://­www.­fcf.­net.
