Thanksgiving fun for Teen Girls

Bring simple thanksgiving decorations, supplies for crafts and ingredients for baking cookies and have fun for a few hours with girls in residential care at Epworth in Webster Groves. Nov. 17, 1 to 3 p.m. Sign up here.

Five Acres Animal Shelter Needs Donated Toys

Five Acres Animal Shelter houses more than 50 dogs who could use a few new toys. Favorites include stuffed and squeaky toys. They do not have to be new and don't have to be "dog" toys as long as they don't have hard eyes or beans inside. Drop donations off at the shelter, which is open from 2-6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis

Extra hands are needed at the Down Syndrome Association's office in University City during the week between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. If you have time to spare, contact Barbara at 314.961.2504 or barbara@dsagsl.org.
